Mould and renting - share your experience!

Tenants often report to us their experiences with mould and other infestations and the difficulties they have getting it resolved. The Federal Parliament is now conducting an inquiry into Biotoxin-related Illnesses in Australia.

On behalf of tenants' organisations across Australia, we are collecting stories from tenants for submissions demonstrating the difficulties tenants face dealing with mould, other biotoxin infestations and its impact on their lives. If you have lived in a rental property in the last 5 years, please complete this form using the address of the home which had mould or other issues in it. Tell us about your experience and feel free to upload up to 6 photos you may have. You can provide as much or as little information as you feel comfortable with. Case studies will be kept anonymous in the submission to parliament. You can also make your own submission to the inquiry.

With your story, our submission will help make a strong case for fairer renting laws which protect tenants against the health impacts of mould and other biotoxin-related illnesses.

Results will be collected until the 27th of July 2018.
