Zoom forum: Opportunities to Make Renting Fair in NSW after the #RentersElection23

Everyone needs a safe, secure, affordable home. The renting system in NSW leaves far too many of the 1 in 3 households that rent without a home that meets those needs, and as the rental crisis has worsened over recent years, it’s never been more clear that we need swift, strong reforms to Make Renting Fair.
The March NSW election was the #RentersElection23 – renting issues were front and centre and commitments were made by politicians across the political spectrum to reform our renting system.
At this Zoom forum we will talk about and celebrate the wins achieved by and for renters over the past few months. We’ll share analysis of what the election outcome means for renters, and discuss the types of reforms we hope to see swiftly implemented by a new Labor government.
