VERTO South West Tenants Advice Service (SWTAS) trained Tenancy Consultants can help you to understand your rights and responsibilities as a tenant and will guide you through any issues you are having. Let us help you with: free confidential telephone advice, advice and representation at the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (for eligible tenants), and referrals to other community services to assist with related issues.

Our services are available to all residential tenants living in and around Albury, Bathurst, Goulburn, Orange and Wagga Wagga.

SWTAS is a program of VERTO.

Tenant Advocates – Nurture and Grow

The annual TAAS Conference took place last month in Birpai Country, Port Macquarie. The theme of the conference was 'Nurture and Grow' – to evoke the approach we seek to take with clients, renters' rights and knowledge, and our own skills. Over 100 Tenant Advocates from across NSW gathered to learn and connect. The conference is organised by the Tenants' Union of NSW, and this was the largest face-to-face conference we have ever delivered.
