Submission: Protections for Residents of Long Term Supported Group Accommodation in NSW

The Tenants' Union is pleased to respond to the NSW Government’s Issues Paper on Protections for Residents of Long Term Supported Group Accommodation in NSW. By raising a number of questions and points for discussion, the Issues Paper proposes the establishment of a scheme to regulate agreements between occupants and providers of long term supported group accommodation. TUNSW supports this, subject to our detailed comments below. We will respond to each of the issues paper’s points in turn.
