Dear …

Re: Return of goods from [address of rental premises]

As you are aware, I vacated the above premises on [date of vacant possession]. At that time a number of my possessions were left in the premises.

I am writing to request that you deliver up the goods to me, by allowing me to attend the premises and remove these goods.

I understand that expenses may be charged for the storing of those goods.

I am available on [dates] between [times] to attend the premises.

Please contact me by [date] to discuss:
- a suitable time to attend the premises to remove my belongings and
- reasonable expenses and method of payment.

My contact details are:
[phone number]
[alternate phone - if applicable]
[email]

If the goods are no longer in the premises, please advise the address where the goods are being held, by the same date.

Yours sincerely
